Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Lauren Alaina Shares New Music Video for “What Do You Think Of?” featuring Lukas Graham
American Idol season 10 runner-up and singer-songwriter Lauren Alaina teamed up with Danish pop band Lukas Graham for “What Do You Think Of?”.
The song is included on her latest EP “Getting Over Him”, which was released back in September.
On December 10th, she dropped a new music video for the song, directed by TK McKamy. But Lukas Graham frontman Lukas Forchhammer filmed his part in Denmark.
Lukas Forchhammer shared on social media, “It's wonderful that it possible to make collaborative music videos in these challenging times and fun to be a part of someone else's visual universe. Thank you again @laurenalaina for putting me on my very first country record.”
The track was written by Asia Whiteacre, Johan Carlsson and Lauren Alaina.
“I'm not even angry anymore, I've moved past it. That song is such an emotional song, and when I wrote it I was hurting so much. I get sad hearing the song. I was not gonna release it. The second verse is painful for me,” Lauren Alaina told Tennessean about the song. “Something about Lukas singing it empowered me to put it on there. It's now the standout on the EP, (and) I fought that song so hard.”
“Getting Over Him” is her second loosely autobiographical EP of 2020, following on the heels of March's Getting Good.
The EP comprises of 6-track, featuring guest appearances from Jon Pardi and Lukas Graham.- source : Apple Music
