London-based alt-pop duo Broken Bones Matilda has delivered a new song “Everafter” via streaming music services.
The duo recorded the song with tape at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios. Produced by Scott Barnett.
The song is influenced by '70s to '80s rock sound like Cyndi Lauper and Fleetwood Mac.
The duo said, “Working to tape you can get results sonically that you wouldn’t get digitally. It also brings an element of pressure to the recording as you need to commit to things and you have the added pressure of limited takes.”
Broken Bones Matilda is comprised of two childhood friends Sarah McGrigor and Sam Gotley from the West country in the UK. Their debut EP “Madeline” was released in 2017.
Followed by, the duo released the single “Midnight Creeper” in 2018, and the second EP “Live at the Pool” was released, last year.- 2018 single “Midnight Creeper”;
