IDER Returns With New Song “Girl”
London-based alt-pop duo IDER, consisting of Megan Markwick and Lily Somerville, returned with a new song “Girl” on April 26, 2024.
The song is their first music in three years since the 2021 singles “cbb to b sad” and “Cross Yourself”.
It was written by Elizabeth Helen Somerville, Jonathan George Woodley, Megan Alice Marwic, Dann Hume who also produced the track.
The accompanying music video was directed by Lewis Knaggs.
The duo said of the song, “Girl is a celebration of our inner wolves and the many different faces of femininity – soft, powerful, gentle and fierce, compassionate, destructive, demonic and divine. It sums up the feeling of freedom when you’re moving with your favourite people, and you don’t care what anyone else thinks.”
