Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Bellah Mae Releases New Song “2053”
British singer-songwriter Bellah Mae released the second single called “2053” from her upcoming sophomore EP “Never Waste A Heartbreak” on March 8, 2024, following “Compatible”.
The track was written by Bellah Mae, Lara Andersson, and Oliver Frid who also produced it.
Bellah Mae said of the song, “Everybody will always tell you 'it'll be okay' and 'there's plenty of fish in the sea' but sometimes you wonder if they'll always be a part of you that reflects on a particular person that's no longer in your life anymore. As for writing the lyrics, I really wanted to tell a story of how strange it is for that person to not be aware of big changes or things happening within your life now.”
She added, “I never really switch off from thinking in lyrics, if I'm having any conversation and someone says a little thing it can spark a whole line in my head.”
The new EP comprises a 6-track and is set to be released on May 3, 2024.-
