American singer-songwriter d4vd released a new song “My House Is Not A Home” on March 8, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to his two-pack single “Withering”, including “Leave Her” and “2016”, which was released last month.
The track was written by David Burke, Jack Hallenbeck, Lucio Westmoreland, and Scott James. Produced by Jack Hallenbeck, Scott James, and silent$ky.
The accompanying music video was directed by blind.
The song is a ballad about loneliness and is an introspective track.
d4vd said of the song, “‘My House Is Not A Home’ is an introspective track about how I viewed my life after moving to Los Angeles. The themes of falling in love with the wrong person in the wrong place at the wrong time are explored throughout the song, and how I navigate those situations are in the lyrics.”
