Wes Nelson Releases New Song “Abracadabra” featuring Craig David
British singer-songwriters Wes Nelson and Craig David teamed up to release a new song “Abracadabra” on February 2, 2024.
This marks the first collaboration between Wes Nelson and Craig David.
For Wes Nelson, the song is the follow-up to “Good Part” with Deeps, which was released last October.
While, for Craig David, the song is his first collaborative song in two years since “DNA” with Swedish DJ Galantis, which is featured on his 2022 eighth studio album “22”.
The track was written by Craig David, Matthew Refern, Michael Engmann, and Wesley Nelson. Produced by RNDM Beats and Mike Brainchild.
The song was born when Wes Nelson happened to meet Craig David at the same recording studio a few months ago.
“Craig asked me to support him at one of his shows in the summer in Ibiza.” Wes Nelson said of the song. “Craig has been a big inspiration to me since I was a kid, so when the opportunity arose to jump into the studio together it was a no brainer!”
He continued, “In the past, there have been some comparisons between the two of us as singers, we're on a similar sort of wave and clearly it's a collaboration that people wanted. We made the whole song start to finish in the studio - it felt really natural and I can't wait for everyone to hear it.”- source : Apple Music
