Maijah Releases New Song “The Star”
American singer-songwriter Maijah released the first single of 2024 called “The Star” on January 30, 2024.
The song is the follow-up to “Never the Muse (Demo)”, which was released last December.
The track combines starry melodies with a double meaning, alluding to both the concept of being destined for fame and confidence.
It was written by Angelo Niko De Laurentis, and Maijah Anastasia Sanson-Frey. Produced by Laurentis.
“This song feels like my hello to 2024 and the rest of my life,” said of the song. “I've always resonated with literal stars, and I've always wanted to be a star. In this song, I wanted to show the listener that if they want to be something, they can just do it; they already are it.”
