Wayland Releases New Song “Other End”
American country rock band Wayland, consisting of Mitch Arnold (vocals/guitar) and Phill Vilenski (guitar), will release their upcoming third studio album “On the Way” on March 15, 2024.
It is their first album in seven years since the 2017 album “Rinse & Repeat”.
The album comprises a 15-track, featuring a guest appearance from CeCe Frey.
From the album, the band released the second single called “Other End” on January 26, 2024.
Crafted in the seclusion of a Michigan cabin, the song stands as a testament to Wayland's evolution amid personal growth, catalyzed by Phill Vilenski’s transformative journey following a poignant divorce.
The track was written by Mitchel Arnold, and Phillip Vilenski who also produced it.- The band said of the song, “'Other End' is the most personal song we’ve ever released and it is one of the first songs Phill ever produced for the band so it’s very special to us.”
They continued, “Break ups and divorce are just a part of life's journey and sometimes a song can help get us through those difficult times. Here's one we wrote for our own broken hearts. We hope it means just as much to you.” - source : Apple Music
