  • Jazmin Bean Releases New Song “You Know What You've Done”

  • London-based singer-songwriter Jazmin Bean released a new song “You Know What You've Done” on January 19, 2024.

The song is the fourth single off of their upcoming debut album “Traumatic Livelihood”, which is set to be released on February 23, 2024 via Island Records/Interscope.
The track was written by Jazmin Bean, and Matt Schwartz who also produced it.
The accompanying music video was directed by Zak Watson and Jazmin Bean.
Jazmin Bean said of the song, “This song is about feeling remorseful, revengeful and getting payback on a lover who didn't take accountability.”

The debut album comprises 14-track, selected from among the 100 songs they wrote, and it is a purposely happy body of work.
Jazmin Bean told DIY Magazine about the album, “I just wanted it to feel optimistic in some way and not just rotting in my pain. Yes, I'm talking about sad stuff, but I wanted to make it clear that I'm acknowledging it in some way. I feel like a lot of sad music is 'I'm sad and it's not going to get better, I don't want it to get better'. I didn't want it to be like that.
They continued, “All my past music was just like: 'I'm mad. I'm angry. I don't know why I'm angry and I have no solution, but I'm angry'. I wanted to acknowledge that there is a solution. I didn't want it to become music to be sad to. It sounds really happy in my opinion, but I don't know... Maybe my brain is warped.”
