Lola Young Releases New Song “Wish You Were Dead”
South London-based singer-songwriter Lola Young released a new song “Wish You Were Dead” on January 12, 2024.
The song is the second single since the 2023 project “My Mind Wanders and Sometimes Leaves Completely”, following the release of “Conceited” in last October.
The track was written by Conor Dickinson, Jared Solomon, Lola Young, Matt Zara, and William Brown. Produced by Solomonophonic and Matt Zaramanuka.
The accompanying music video was directed by Sarah Dattani Tucker.
She first performed the song at Wish You Were Dead party in East London on January 12, 2024.
Lola Young shared on social media, “I feel inspired and positive about 2024 and if you know me or my music feeling this way isn't a given. This year is about leaving the negative shit behind. Surrounding myself with people that understand me, support me, make me feel. I'm grateful to be alive. I'm awake.
