Foxglove Premieres New Song “Tell Me A Story” on BBC Music Introducing
Manchester-based indie pop band Foxglove, consisting of Abi White (vocals), Ryan Croney (guitar), Liam Croney (drums) and Joe Myers (bass), premiered a new song “Tell Me A Story” on BBC Music Introducing in Manchester.
The song is their second single, following the releases of the debut song “Run” in 2022.
The track was written by Abi White, Joe Myers, Liam Croney, and Ryan Croney. Produced by Toby Ollis-Brownstone.
The band lead singer Abi White penned the track about burnout in your early twenties and not knowing what path to take in life.
The band said of the song, “It's our favourite tune we've written to date, with garage and indie dream pop influences weaving through, think PinkPantheress meets Sam Fender. We recorded a live session in summer with SoundON that we're so so proud of.”- They continued, “It's a euphoric dance garage beat and we can't begin to explain the fun we had creating this tune. It honestly means the world to us if people listen to our tune- whack it on whilst you finish up work for Christmas and spin it through the festivities.”
The band will appear on Blackthorn Proud 2 Bee Festival, which will be held at Whitebottom Farm in Stockport, UK on June 14 - June 16, 2024. -
