COP28 Releases Official Charity Anthem “Lasting Legacy” featuring 13 Global Artists
COP28, Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC, was held at Expo City in Dubai from November 30 until December 12, 2023.
The official charity anthem “Lasting Legacy” was performed by 13 global artists, including AGNEZ MO (Indonesia), Anushka Sen (India), Arrow Bwoy (Kenya), AY Young (USA), Balqees (UAE), Barbara Doza (Venezuela), BOY STORY (China), Carolina Doche (USA/Brazil), Dalia (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), GIMS (Congo/France), Inna MODJA (Mali), RedOne (Sweden), Valeriya (Russia), and Văn Mai Hương (Vietnam), during the closing session of the World Climate Action Summit on December 9, 2023.
The song was official released on December 2, 2023 and embraces the six official languages of the United Nations: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish.
All proceeds of the song will go to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and the International Rescue Committee.
