Chloe Lowery Returns With New Song “Girls Like Me”
American singer-songwriter Chloe Lowery returned with a new song “Girls Like Me” on December 8, 2023.
It is her first music in four years since the 2019 debut album “The In-Between”, which was released as Chloe.
The song addresses the challenge of meeting societal or self-imposed expectations that often raise questions about one's worth.
The track was written by Chloe Lowery and produced by Cale Hawkins.
The accompanying music video was directed by Matthew Stiller.
Chloe Lowery shared on social media, “I have to say your girl has grown up a bit since the last time we spoke ‘music.’ To be honest, I’m a little anxious for everyone to hear this new one as it’s really the most exposed I have been as artist. Went through a lot of shit to get here.”- She continued, “I wrote this song to be a love letter; a love letter to myself and to all the girls out there who have felt defeated, not good enough, completely alone and found the courage to stand back up despite adversity.”
