Blackout Problems Releases New Song “GLOFS” featuring Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari
German alt-rock band Blackout Problems, consisting of Mario Radetzky (vocals/guitar), Marcus Schwarzbach (bass), Moritz Hammrich (guitar) and Marius Bornmann (drums), released a new song “GLOFS” on November 24, 2023.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming album “RIOT”, following the release of “PUZZLE” last month.
This time, the band teamed up with British rock band Enter Shikari's frontman Rou Reynolds on the track.
The track was written by Blackout Problems and Rou Reynolds. Produced by Mario Radetzky and Karan Walia.
The accompanying music video was directed by Bernhard Schinn and Moritz Schinn.
The band frontman Mario Radetzky said of the song, “At first, I didn't believe that this idea could turn into reality. Then suddenly, two or three months after the request, I had a WhatsApp from Rou Reynolds with a Dropbox link. We took his first draft straight away because it was so magical and just fits perfectly! It's a small lifelong dream that's coming true for us.- Rou Reynolds added, “I was honoured to have been asked to jump on this song by my friends Blackout Problems. It's such an excellently sculpted track and I can't wait to perform it with them on our tour together in Europe next year!”
The new album comprises 10-track and is set to be released on February 23, 2024. It is their first album in three years since the 2021 album “Dark”. - source : Apple Music
