Emotional Oranges & Nonso Amadi Team Up for New Song “Nowhere”
Los Angeles-based R&B duo Emotional Oranges teamed up with Nigerian singer-songwriter Nonso Amadi again to release a new song “Nowhere” on November 15, 2023.
This marks the second collaboration between Emotional Oranges and Nonso Amadi, following “Not Worthy” released back in May.
The song is the first single off of their upcoming collaborative EP “Blended”, which is set to be released on January 26, 2024.
The track was written by Azad Right, Nonso Amadi and Majid Al Maskati. Produced by Nonso Amadi.
Emotional Oranges said of the song, “'Nowhere' is the 2nd track we made with Nonso. Him and Majid (from Majid Jordan) had started the song idea and it was something I immediately connected to. The message felt incredibly time sensitive, both in my personal life and with everything happening in the world. This idea that no matter what’s going on, you’re always going to be there for your person/people. And sonically it represents a new chapter in the EO sound as it’s (one of) the first tracks we’ve made that isn’t centered around the groove of the bass. That open, airy feel made this the perfect song to lead off our collab EP 'Blended' and take us into the ice cold Los Angeles Winter.”- Emotional Oranges shared on social media, “Our new single “nowhere” ft.
