Back in June, British singer-songwriter Rick Astley announced his ninth studio album “Are We There Yet?” would be released on October 6, 2023.
It is his first album in five years since the 2018 album “Beautiful Life”.
The album comprises 12-track, written, recorded, and produced by Rick Astley at his home studio in South-West London.
Rick Astley said of the album, “Now, that phrase has multiple meanings. Are we there yet in my musical ambitions? Am I done with my career? Have we arrived? Or are we still travelling?”
On August 22, he released the second single called “Never Gonna Stop” from the album, following “Dippin My Feet”.
He said of the song, “I am so excited about the release of Never Gonna Stop, the second single from my forthcoming album Are We There Yet? I love the vibe of it and I hope you love it too.”
He added, “I wrote this track after reading an article about AI and it made me think about how the world is now full of daunting technology and that we need to remain human through it all!”- source : Apple Music
