Maze Returns With New Song “show me to your bed”
Montreal-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Maze returned with a new song “show me to your bed” on August 4, 2023.
The song is her first music in a year since “Dreams of OD” featuring La Monarque, which was last August.
It was written and produced by Maze.
Maze said of the song, “I wrote the song “show me to your bed” when I was starting to fall for someone I never thought I’d date. We were friends for years and we had seemingly different lives but we got closer and I felt like I was falling for him. It starts up as being a passionate, confusing crush to an intimate, sexy love story where you just keep on falling and falling...”- She continued, “'show me to your bed' is only a line in the song but to me, it relates to something deeper. It’s all about the intimacy of the bed, somewhere only a few people get access to.”
She added, “I’m so proud of this song because it really shows off my skill as a music producer. I was trying to change the song as much as possible in the span of 3 minutes. My goal was to make you feel a bunch of emotions through production change, keeping you on your toes!” -
