Carrie Underwood Releases New Song “Take Me Out”
American country music singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood will release the deluxe edition of her ninth studio album “Denim & Rhinestones” on September 22, 2023.
From the deluxe edition, she released the second single called “Take Me Out” on June 9, 2023, following “Out of That Truck”.
The track was written by Carrie Underwood, David Garcia, and Hillary Lindsey. Produced by Carrie Underwood and David Garcia.
On the same day of releasing the single, she launched her SiriusXM channel “Carrie’s Country”, which features multiple genres, including classic rock and the latest in country, as well as personal insight from her on her career.
Carrie Underwood said of the SiriusXM channel, “I've been very - so far, I've been very involved. Building out the library and everything has been a lot of fun. And it is Carrie’s Country. It's so much more than that. So we'll obviously play my stuff, stories behind the song. I've already recorded a lot of those. I have - It's en ever-growing, playlist. So sometimes, ever now, I wrote down some notes this morning of people that I forgot. But it's me, it's new country, it's classinc country, stuff I grew up listening to. We have rock. I hopefully, all the rock stuff is either people that I've obviously worked with or, you know, covered or whatever. But also a lot of country adjacent type things like Rolling Stones. I'm like, 'I don't know if they knew how twangy they are.' So, people like that.
