Austrian indie pop-rock singer-songwriter James Hersey will release his upcoming third studio album “Let It Shine” on September 15, 2023.
The album was produced by Jochen Naaf, featuring a puristic approach to recording with live instrumentation and a neo-vintage sound handcrafted in the studio with his friends Antonio Fortino and Daniel Schreiber on bass and drums.
From the album, he unveiled a new song “Ghost Me” along with a music video on June 2, 2023,
The song is the fourth single off of the album, following “Cut Me Out” , “Right Where I Am” and “Fake Love”.
It was written by James Hersey, Wesley Singerman, Taylor Dexter, and Justin Young. Produced by Jochen Naaf.
James Hersey said of the song, “I wrote 'Ghost Me' about a casual relationship I had with a beautiful girl overseas. We promised not to fall in love because I was travelling a lot, but in the end I couldn't help myself.”
