American singer-songwriter Dorian Electra released a new song “Sodom & Gomorrah” along with a music video on June 2, 2023.
The song is the second single, following “Freak Mode” released back in April since the 2020 album “My Agenda”.
The track was written by Dorian Electra, Count Baldor, Marcus Andersson, Lauren Aquilina, Demi Yo'ko, Marina Rei Thompson, and Weston Allen. Produced by Count Baldor, Marcus Andersson, and Dorian Electra.
The accompanying music video was directed by Weston Allen and Dorian Electra.
Dorian Electra said of the song, “Sodom & Gomorrah is the biblical story of two cities that were so sinful that God destroyed them. The word Sodomy - derived from this story - has often been used to oppress queer people, so I wanted to reclaim it in a bratty, slutty, sexy song. Musically, I was inspired by the pop I grew up on (Britney Spears, Missy Elliot), but with a modern twist, and heavy guitars.”- Photo by Lance Williams
