BOKKA Releases New Version of “VIOLET” featuring ZERØ
Polish alt-pop band BOKKA released a new version of “Violet Mountain Tops” as “VIOLET” on April 28, 2023.
The original version of the song is included on their 2013 self-titled debut album.
This time, the band teamed up with singer-songwriter ZERØ.
The song is the first single from their upcoming album “BOKKA HITS 10”, which is expected to be released in 2023.
It was written by BOKKA and produced by Bogdan Kondracki.
The band said, “VIOLET is a new version of 'Violet Mountain Tops' - a song from our debut album. The text tells about dreams - the wonderful ones about flying over purple mountains and jumping on trees, and the nightmare ones where you die and try to tell your loved ones about it. Don't wake me vs Please, wake me, which is a bit like in life;)”
- The new album comprises 10-track, featuring guest appearances from 10 artists.
The band said of the album, “Initially, we didn't want to make a fuss about the occasion, but at one of the team meetings, an idea came up that surprised us. Then it seemed crazy and unrealistic for many reasons, and today we are announcing an album featuring 10 characters whose talent impresses us greatly. The fact that we chose them is one thing, but the fact that they let themselves be drawn into our bizarre world without batting an eyelid is the best gift for us. Their nicknames may not tell you much, but listen to their voices and you will understand ;)”
