Mimi Webb Releases New Version of “Last Train To London (I Won't Look Back)” produced by FINNEAS
British singer-songwriter Mimi Webb released a new version of “Last Train To London (I Won't Look Back)” on April 28, 2023.
This time, American singer-songwriter FINNEAS produced the track.
The original version of the song “Last Train To London” is featured on her debut album “Amelia” released back in March.
The track was written by Amelia Anne Webb, Connor McDonough, Ryan Daly, Riley McDonough, Dave Kutch, Toby McDonough, and CASTLE.
Mimi Webb said, “FINNEAS is literally one of my favourite producers in the world. He produced the incredible Billie Eilish albums. [He's] an absolute legend, and I love him. I sent [Last Train To London] over to him and I was like 'is there anything you want to do to it? I'm really going for it, but I really want you to hear the song and see if you like it.' He listened to the song, and we're releasing a version of it with him on Friday. See you there!”- She told Apple Music about the song, “With the journey the album goes on, it's so nice to be able to do something so stripped-back—just me and the piano. It's got that element where I can really go for it live, and that moment is going to be so special for the shows.”
