  • Christine and the Queens Releases New Song “True love” featuring 070 Shake

  • French singer-songwriter Héloïse Letissier, aka Christine and the Queens teamed up with American rapper 070 Shake to release a new song “True love” on April 17, 2023.

This marks the second collaboration bet ween Christine and the Queens and 070 Shake, following the 2022 “Body” is featured on 070 Shake's sophomore album “You Can't Kill Me”.
The song is the second single off of Christine and the Queen' upcoming fourth studio album “PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE”, which is set to be released on June 9, 2023.
The track was written by Héloïse Letissier, Mike Dean, and Sarah Schachner. Produced by Christine and the Queens and Mike Dean.
The accompanying music video was directed by Christine and the Queens.
  • The new album comprises 20-track, featuring guest appearances from Madonna, MIKE DEAN, and 070 Shake.
Christine and the Queens said of the album, “This new record is the second part of an operatic gesture that also encompassed 2022's Redcar les adorables étoiles. Taking inspiration from the glorious dramaturgy of Tony Kushner's iconic play, Angels in America, Redcar felt colorful and absurd like Prior sent to his insane dream-space. The follow-up PARANOÏA, ANGELS, TRUE LOVE is a key towards heart-opening transformation, a prayer towards the self—the one that breathes through all the loves it is made of. Prior's real agony in Angels in America is a deep, painful becoming, a shedding of all waters and memories, that then allows angels to immerse deep too, and offer back profound, narrative-altering love—a rest in true love.”
