shy martin Releases New Song “glued to the floor”
Swedish singer-songwriter shy martin released a new song “glued to the floor” along with an animated lyric video on April 12, 2023.
The song is the third single off of her upcoming debut album “late night thoughts”, which is set to be released on May 19, 2023 via The Orchard.
The track was written and produced by shy martin, Fanny Hultman and Kerstin Ljungström.
The accompanying video was animated by supreme4stupid.
“'glued to the floor' was the last song written for the album. It kind of sums up how I felt for a really long time. When we first started working on the album I was in a really weird headspace,“ shy martin said of the song. “I had just started with antidepressants for the first time and it had such a huge impact on how I felt at the time so I really wanted to write about it. For years, my fans have been sharing their stories and struggles with me, creating this safe and nonjudgmental space that I'm very thankful for. It's really special and has inspired me a lot.”- The new album comprises 7-track, produced by Fanny Hultman, Kerstin Ljungström and shy martin.
She said of the album, “When I look back at my old songs, it feels like I'm looking back at the younger version of myself. And this feels like this music is where I am at the moment.
