Austrian indie pop-rock singer-songwriter James Hersey released a new song “Right Where I Am” on January 27, 2023.
The song is the second single off of his upcoming album, following “Fake Love” released last November.
He recorded the song at Toolhouse Studio in Germany.
It was written by James Hersey and produced by Jochen Naaf.
The accompanying music video was directed by Janos Götze and James Hersey.
James Hersey said of the song, “Right Where I Am is the second single from my upcoming independent album. Recorded at the legendary Toolhouse Studio in Germany, it’s a further step away from the bedrooms and home-studios of my previous releases. I missed recording with a band - the energy and imagination of creative musicians - and wanted to get away from the illusory world of laptop productions.
