American alt-pop duo RAGS AND RICHES, consisting of Tanner Whitt and Peyton Whitt, released their first single of 2023 called “holiday.” along with a music video on January 27, 2023.
The song is the follow-up to “TALK”, which was released last September.
It was written by Peyton Whitt, Tanner Whitt and DeMarko Murphy. Produced by Peyton Alan Whitt.
The accompanying video was directed by Austin Barron.
Tanner Whitt said of the song, “It came from a place of feeling burnt out on the schedule we were living. We had been doing the same schedule for a few years and this was our 'get me out of this way of living” mindset.'”
He continued, “Peyton produced the beat and then we called our good friend DeMarko Murphy in to help write this one. Between the three of us I think we nailed the carefree/get me out of this 'normal' way of living.”- source : Apple Music
