Belgian singer-songwriter Pommelien Thijs has released a new song “ZILVER”.
The song is the follow-up to “Wat Een Idee!?”, which was released back in September.
It was written by Stefan van Leijsen, Sasha Rangas, and Simon de Wit. Produced by The Companions.
The accompanying music video was directed by Yentl Vlachos.
Pommelien Thijs said of the song, “We wrote the song with topics that keep me awake. We started from all kinds of thoughts, which I didn't know where to place or how to change that. I also didn't immediately know what my position as a singer is. 'Zilver' came out very organically. It is a mix of all things that I occasionally scratch my head about. There is a good beat underneath, so that it remains danceable.”
She continued, “I also lose sleep over politicians who lack a long-term vision. 'Zilver is not a doomsday song'. I am looking for the silver lining or the silver edge.”- source : Apple Music
