Dukes Of Roots & Natiruts Team Up For New Song “Try Happy”
Global reggae band Dukes Of Roots, consisting of Mermans Mosengo (vocals/guitar), George “Fully” Fullwood (bass), Courtney Diedrick (drumas), Sean Diedrick (keyboards) and Rod Walkey (guitar), teamed up with Brazilian reggae band Natiruts, consisting of Alexandre Carlo and Luís Mauricio, to release a new song “Try Happy” on December 2, 2022.
The song is the second single off of their upcoming debut album, following “Pressure Drop” released back in July.
It was written by Nathalia Marshall, Rachael Kennedy, Lance Shipp, Alexandre Carlo, Pedro Alex and Rod Walkey.
Produced by Sean “YoungPow” Diedrick and executive produced by Rod Walkey.
They have already filmed the music video for the song, directed by Kieran Khan, and filmed in Jamaica and Brazil, will be coming soon.
Dukes Of Roots said, “Alexandre has been so much fun to work with. He is an incredible talent and such a kind person. We had many laughs on the beach days in Brazil leading up to the recording session. The Natiruts studio and engineers made the recording session easy and professional. We hope to be back again someday soon to do more work together.”
