Norwegian singer-songwriter Victoria Nadine released a new song “Nerve” on November 4, 2022.
The song is the follow-up to the collaborative song “Nakna” with Omar Rudberg, which was released back in June.
The track was written by Victoria Nadine, Dag Holtan-Hartwig, and Halvor Folstad. Produced by Skinny Days.
"It's about relationships. And that there are certain things that are not good to do when a relationship is over, such as continuing to have contact with your ex when you have a new girlfriend," Victoria Nadine said of the song. “It has felt important to me not just to be sweet and kind, which you might find easy to be when you are young, when you are unsure and still trying to find out who you are. Then you get older, and realize that what you accepted when you were younger is actually not something you should accept".
She continued, "I think it's scary and a little anxiety-filled, every time, to be so undressed and honest in what I sing about. And at the same time, one of the things that drives me the most, and makes it a little less scary to open up, is the feedback I get from people who say it helps them realize they're not alone in having these crazy experiences I sing about.”- source : Apple Music
