Ceara Cavalieri Releases New Song “Liar Liar”
Los Angeles-based alt-pop singer-songwriter Ceara Cavalieri has released a new song “Liar Liar” along with a music video.
The autobiographical song was inspired when she found out her boyfriend was cheating on her in Vegas with someone she used to be good friends with.
The track was written by Ceara Cavalieri, Madi Yanofsky and Barry Cohen. Produced by Gingerbread.
The accompanying video was directed by JakeTheShooter.
Ceara Cavalieri said of the song, “I had a dream the night prior that he was cheating with her, and he tried denying it for weeks. Eventually, one of his friends told me the truth with screenshots, and I wrote Liar Liar the following day. It is the worst feeling when you find out your intuition was right when dealing with something like that, especially if you think you're 'in love.' I wanted to write a fun, empowering post-breakup song that you can scream in your car and help ease the pain of being cheated on, even if it's just for a couple of minutes.”
- Ceara Cavalieri is a 26 year old singer-songwriter from Southern California. Having graduated from UCLA with a degree in Psychology, she has since dedicated herself to pursuing music full time. Her love for music stems from the age of three, where she found her voice and wouldn't stop singing.
In her teenage years she took to songwriting as a way of expressing her thoughts and feelings when her shyness prevented. With seven single releases under her belt thus far, she is carving out her own distinct sound of incredibly infectious and candidly relatable pop rock music.
