Norwegian singer-songwriter Torine released a new song “see u in hell” on September 2, 2022.
The song is the first single off of her upcoming debut EP “UNHOLY”.
It was written by Joakim Haukaas, Torine Bjåland, Fanny Hultman, and Louise Lennartsson. Produced by JOKI.
“I think everyone can relate to hating someone a little bit, in my case it's about an ex-boyfriend, who brought out the vengeful side of me, and inspired me to write my new song,” Torine said of the song. “He asked me to go to hell, and I replied 'guess I'm gonna see u in hell'. It feels a little scary to share such a personal story, about the journey I've had in life until today, about everything from my religious past, to one-night-stands; literally heaven and hell.”
The debut EP is expected to be released later this fall.
She said of the EP, “My friends say that someone should make a film about my life. I grew up in an environment characterized by both drugs and religion - two worlds that don't really belong together. After moving from my hometown, and breaking with religion, I've probably become everything that those around me hoped I wouldn't become.”- source : Apple Music
