American singer-songwriter Ava Max will release her upcoming sophomore album “Diamonds & Dancefloors” on January 27, 2023.
Initially, the album was set for release on October 14, 2022, but it was announced to be postponed to January 27, 2023.
Back in April, she released the lead single “Maybe You're The Problem”.
Following the first single, she unveiled the second single called “Million Dollar Baby” along with a music video on September 1, 2022.
The track was written by Amanda Ava Koci, Jessica Agombar, David Stewart, Michael Pollack, Peter Rycroft, Henry Walter, and Diane Warren.
Produced by David Stewart, Cirkut, and Lostboy. The accompanying video was directed by Andrew Donoho.
Ava Max said of the song, “When this song came about, I was going through a really tough time in my life - heartbreak and just a lot of sadness. I titled it 'Million Dollar Baby' to remind me of my self-worth and wrote the lines to show that if you put your mind to it, you can get through anything and achieve it. The words 'She broke out of her chains, turned the fire into rain' symbolically show the journey through which this song has accompanied me: initially pressed to the ground by sadness, I finally free myself from the burden and have the feeling to be myself again.”- source : Apple Music
