American singer-songwriter Olivia O'Brien released a new song “Bitch Back” on August 5, 2022.
This time, she teamed up with American singer-songwriter FLETCHER on the track.
This marks the first time Olivia O'Brien and FLETCHER have worked together.
The song is the follow-up to “Bitches These Days” and the collaborative song “Caught Up” with American DJ Gryffin.
It was written by Olivia O'Brien, Ryan McMahon, Ryan Rabin, Benjamin Berger, Tia Scola and Cari Fletcher. Produced by Captain Cuts and Ryan McMahon.
The accompanying music video was directed by Max Movish and Jacqueline Kulla.
Olivia O'Brien told INSIDER about the song, “I had this song that I originally wrote myself, and it was just for me. And then I was like, I just really think this song would be cool with a female feature because it's about having your friend come back from a relationship and being single and going out.”
She continued, “She came to the studio and we rewrote the second verse for her. Well, she mainly wrote it, but we had to fit it into the song, right? So it ended up being her version of what I originally wrote, which I think is really cool.”
FLETCHER shared on social media, “obsessed with our crazy nights together, and writing unhinged lyrics w you. i love you bitch Olivia O'Brien”
