  • SG Lewis Returns With Two New Songs “Missing You” & “Something About Your Love”

  • London-based singer-songwriter SG Lewis returned with two new songs “Missing You” and “Something About Your Love”.

Two songs are his first music since his debut album “Times”, which was released last February.
“Missing You” is '80s synth-rave and was written by Samuel George Lewis, Ed Drewett, Reuben James Butler, and Jay Mooncie.
While, “Something About Your Love” is inspired by Daft Punk and was written by Samuel George Lewis, Sophie Frances Cooke, Terry Lewis and James Harris.
Both songs were produced by SG Lewis.
“Conceptually, ['Missing You'] felt like the perfect introduction," Lewis said in a press statement. "It's a story about temptation and dwindling fear. Your eyes are wandering.” He went on to readily acknowledge the debt that "Something About Your Love" owes to a certain disbanded French robot duo. “It's no secret I'm a massive Daft Punk fan. It's the closest thing I've ever made to a tribute to them. I was listening to Discovery a lot, and there's a specific technique to it. I chopped up the sample of these seventies keys and drums. It came together easily. Lyrically, It's a pure confession of admiration for someone. It's the perfect contrast to 'Missing You'.”
Recently, he joined in Swedish singer-songwriter Tove Lo's new album “Dirt Femme”, which is set to be released on October 14, 2022.
