American singer-songwriter Grace Tandon, aka Daya released a new song “Love You When You're Gone” on June 29, 2022.
The song follows up Evil “(From The Original Television Soundtrack Blade Runner Black Lotus)”.
It was written by Grace Tandon, Louis Castle and James Bairian. Produced by The Gifted.
The accompanying music video was directed by Mitch deQuilettes.
“The video was intended to live somewhere in between a sort of dream world and reality where I'm processing the memories of my past relationship while coping with my own day-to-day loneliness and questions of identity without [the relationship],” Daya said of the video. “At the end, it's a cathartic release and acceptance of the reality of the situation; that chapter of my life has closed and I am free to let go and grow into a new version of myself.”- source : Apple Music
