Icona Pop & Charli XCX Release 10th Anniversary Remix of “I Love It” (I Don’t Care 2022 Re-Edit)
- Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop and British singer-songwriter Charli XCX have reunited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2012 smash hit “I Love It”.
This time, Swedish producers Osrin and Ellis created a remix of “I Love It”.
The original version of the song was released from Icona Pop's self-titled debut album in 2012. It was written by Charli XCX, Linus Eklöw and Patrik Berger.
The song reached No.1 on the UK Singles chart and No.7 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It has gone on to sell 4.3 million certified downloads.
“We are so proud of what we have achieved with ‘I Love It’ over these past 10 years,” Icona Pop said in a statement. “It’s always hard to beat that first vision you have for a song, but we wanted to take a fresh look at it together with some of our favorite new producers and bring it closer to the experience of Icona Pop live in 2022.”
