American singer-songwriter K.Flay announced her 7th EP “Outside Voices” would be released on November 19, 2021.
The EP is a sequel to the previous EP “Inside Voices”, which was released back in June.
Ahead of the releasing the EP, she dropped a new music video for “Nothing Can Kill Us” on November 5th.
The song was released last month. It was written by Taylor Janzen, K.Flay and Jason Suwito.
K.Flay shared on social media, “i wrote this song in the midst of heartbreak. and i'm still in the midst of it, to be honest. i've been thinking so much about how we can lose people, but how they never really leave us. how we can feel invincible one minute but naked and vulnerable the next. i wanted to celebrate love and how it changes us. how it can turn single moments into tiny little forevers. i hope this song makes you feel alive, even if you're hurting. i hope it feels like the biggest fucking hug and also a scream and also spinning around in a field at 4am not even remembering there's a tomorrow.”
The video was directed by Christina Xing. K.Flay said of the video, “We wanted to tell a story about loving someone and losing them, what that reckoning feels like. The desperate need to reinhabit your memories and relive the sense of invincibility and foreverness that comes with being in love, but also the painful, almost mystical process of letting someone go.”- source : Apple Music
