Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Andra Day Premieres New Song “Make Your Troubles Go Away”
American singer-songwriter and actress Andra Day has unveiled a new song “Make Your Troubles Go Away”. It is her first single two years since "Amen" except collaboration singles. Track was written by busbee and Andra Day.
She partnered with GiveDirectly, which is a charity to support families affected by the coronavirus pandemic, proceeds from the single will go to GiveDirectly.
Last week, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert also announced the partnership.
Also, Andra Day will appear on biographical film “The United States vs. Billie Holiday” as Billie Holiday.
The film is directed by Lee Daniels, in addition to Andra Day, starring Trevante Rhodes, Garrett Hedlund and Natasha Lyonne.- source : Hype Magazine
