Back in January, Austin-based rock band The Cuckoos released their sophomore album “I Hate Love” for the first time in three years.
The band kept busy creating their new music, they unveiled a new song “She's Wearing Lipstick (From Someone Else's Kiss)” following the album.
The track will appear on their upcoming EP “Honeymoon Phases” and has throwback sounds from the 80’s MTV era with lyrics that are distinctly modern.
Frontman Kenneth Frost said of the song, “‘She’s Wearing Lipstick’ is about learning that you can’t control other people and you can’t make them love you back. Sometimes people are on a different path in life and maybe you’re just a stop along the way.”
