Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Saint Slumber Releases New Song “it's okay to be afraid”
New Jersey alt-rock band Saint Slumber has delivered a new song “it's okay to be afraid” via streaming music services.
The band will donate the proceeds from the song to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. “We decided that we would use the proceeds from the track to give to those affected by COVID-19," says Saint Slumber's Joshua Perna. "We chose MusicCares because it's an incredible organization that supports musicians in need, and we chose the PHL COVID-19 Relief Fund in order to give back to the incredible city that's given us so much as a band.”
The track is the second single of 2020, following “HUMAN 2.0”, which was released back in March.
The band wrote and recorded the track remotely. Joshua Perna said, “it’s okay to be afraid’? came to me as I was struggling to sleep one night. Within 72 hours I had the song finished in its entirety and ready to release.”- source : GIGSOUP
