American country music singer-songwriter Jimmie Allen has released a new song “This is Us” following 2019's "Make Me Want To".
This time he worked with American singer-songwriter Noah Cyrus.
The track was written by Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Jordan Schmidt, Ilsey Juber, Dernst “D’Mile” Emile II and Noah Cyrus.
“I looked at it, not just a relationship, but friendships and stuff I’ve had," Jimmie Allen said of the song. "That lyric, ‘You were just you and I was just me …’ We were kids and we might have gotten in arguments or fights, but we were trying to figure out who we were. Through all that we remained friends."
Jimmie Allen met Noah Cyrus at Stagecoach in 2019. Noah Cyrus was on Allen's radar. But at that time he wasn't thinking duet. He said, “Her dad was and still is one of my favorite country artists of all time. And she has an older sister that has a huge career.”
Jimmie Allen's manager Ash Bowers set the collaboration with Noah Cyrus, who had this song and wanted to sing with somebody on it.- mr7oz0KZt_4
