James Arthur Unveils New Song “You” featuring Travis Barker of Blink-182
British singer-songwriter James Arthur collaborated with Travis Barker of Blink-182 to release a new song “You”.
The track is a title tune of his upcoming third studio album “You”, which is set to be released on October 18th.
The accompanying music video was directed by Timon Birkhofer, starring Cristina Chan, Gregory Phillips and Natalie Morgan.
It was written by James Arthur, Travis Barker, George Tizzard and Rick Parkhouse.
The album “You” is his first LP in three years. Featuring guest appearances from Travis Barker, Ty Dolla Sign, Shotty Horroh and Adam Lazzara.
“You. My last album was very much introspective and autobiographical. This one is made to feel more inclusive and more about YOU. It’s inspired by other people,” James Arthur told Wonderland Magazine about the album. “For me the challenge is always selecting the songs that make the final cut. Two or three years of writing condensed into one record. It’s got to be coherent and flow nicely. That’s always the challenge for me personally.
