Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Red Tan Releases New Song “Don't Let Go”
Back in 2017, London-based Filipina singer-songwriter Red Tan won the World Championships for Performing Arts in Los Angeles.
But two months later, her husband passed away to the dengue virus. At the same time her husband passed away, her young son was also battling the same condition, dengue encephalopathy, a rare case of dengue which affects the brain.
But her son has now recovered and she started singing again.
On September 20th, she released a new song “Don't Let Go” from her upcoming debut EP “Don’t You Dare”. The song paid tribute to her husband and was released on the anniversary of his death as a way of finally emerging from the denial of grief and saying goodbye.
The debut EP is expected be released later this year.- source : Volatile Weekly
