Donate to support families affected by the crisis in Ukraine ➔ Charli XCX & Troye Sivan Reunite On New Song “2099”
British singer-songwriter Charli XCX and Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan worked together again for a new song “2099”.
They live-premiered the track during Go West Fest back in June. The song will appear on her upcoming self-titled album “Charli”.
This marks the second time they collaborated, their first collaboration was on her single “1999” back in 2018.
“When I first moved to LA three years ago and first got my place, I was doing a lot of house parties,” Charli XCX said. “It’d be open invite and a lot of people came, a lot of people I didn’t know. It was pretty fun actually. Troye came to one of the parties, and that’s where I first met him. We got talking and realized we had a lot of mutual friends. Immediately I thought he was super sweet.”
The new album “Charli” is scheduled for release on September 13th.- source : Rolling Stone
