CXLOE & Gnash Premiere New Song “SICK” on Triple J
- Sydney-based singer-songwriter CXLOE premiered a new song “SICK” on Australian tastemaker radio network Triple J.
This time, she worked with American rapper Gnash for the song. This marks the firs time both artist have collaborated.
The track is her third single of 2019, following “Low Blow” and “I Can't Have Nice Things”
“I wrote “SICK” based on my extreme personality and emotions, where there is no middle ground,” CXLOE told L'Officiel about the song in interview, “I’m either zero or one hundred. I want all of it or none of it. I wanted to write a song that showed the intense feelings behind love and lust. I know there have been a million types of songs about love and wanting someone, but I wanted to put myself in the song and write my take on it.”
- She continued, “The way I feel is that I either hate it or I love it. My emotions are intense and very unique. The word sick encompassed that really well – wanting to be loved until you feel sick or wanted to throw up.”
She is currently working on her debut album. She said, “I have been writing my ass off and I think I have enough songs for a greatest hits album. You can expect a body of work from me very soon!”
