American singer-songwriter Sheryl Crow teamed up with Stevie Nicks of Fleetwood Mac and country music singer-songwriter Maren Morris to release a new song “Prove You Wrong”. Also, Joe Walsh of the Eagles joined in the song as guitar.
The track follows up “Live Wire” which features Bonnie Raitt and Mavis Staples.
The song will appear on her upcoming 11th studio album “Threads” including remake her 1996 song “Redemption Day”.
The new album features guest appearances from Don Henley, Jason Isbell, Maren Morris, Chris Stapleton, Joe Walsh, Sting, Stevie Nicks, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Emmylou Harris and Kris Kristofferson, as well as Keith Richards.
“Threads” will be her final full-length album. “It takes a lot of time and money and energy to create a fully artistic statement with a beginning, a middle and end,” Sheryl Crow said. “And, you know, you hope you have a song that lands on a playlist somewhere. People just don’t listen to albums anymore. So I feel like this is a good one to go out on.”
