Twinnie Premieres New Song “Better When I'm Drunk”
British singer-songwriter Twinnie has released a new song “Better When I'm Drunk” from her new EP of the same title.
She unveiled a new music video for the song on Mar 8 and a live video on March 13, respectively.
The EP features three songs “Type of Girl”, “Superhero” and “Better When I'm Drunk”. She co-wrote the songs with Nashville luminaries like Lucie Silvas and Jeremy Spillman.
She told Boring Stone about the song, “I basically just wanted to show some humor. I tend to be a quite truthful writer. I write songs that are authentic to me, and are relatable. I want to say things that people think but don’t necessarily say. So for me, “Better When I’m Drunk” shows the difference between what people think on a night out as opposed to the morning after. The song was all about showing the humor and the truth in that. And it’s not just about regretting a bad decision you’ve made. I think it’s also about how I felt about myself; you know, after one glass of wine, you feel a lot more confident… I felt quite empowered as a woman, singing about that kind of subject.”- TGgntqTCfPU
