Nashville-based alt-rock band Moon Taxi covered American country music singer Kacey Musgraves' “Slow Burn”.
The music video for the song was released on February 5, 2019, directed by Ted Roach.
The original of the song was released by Kacey Musgraves in March 2018 and appeared on her forth album "Golden Hour".
Lead singer Trevor Terndrup said about the cover in a statement. “We’ve been fans of Kacey for years and thought Golden Hour was an amazing record. The approach was to make ‘Slow Burn’ our own while still paying very close attention to the original,” he explained. “Her Grammy nominations give us hope for the future of new music coming out of Nashville.
