American rapper Tyler, the Creator premiered a new EP “Music Inspired by Illumination & Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch”.
But the EP doesn't include either of his contributions to 3D computer-animated Christmas film "The Grinch" soundtrack.
The EP comprises of 6-track, featuring guest appearances from Santigold, Ryan Beatty and Jerry Paper.
He contributed to songs “I Am the Grinch” featuring Fletcher Jones and “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” to "The Grinch" soundtrack.
"The Grinch" is based on the 1957 Dr. Seuss book "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!".
In 2000, Ron Howard adapted the book into the film, starring Jim Carrey.
This time, "The Grinch" was directed by Yarrow Cheney and Scott Mosier, starring the voices of Benedict Cumberbatch, Rashida Jones, Kenan Thompson, Cameron Seely and Angela Lansbury, and is narrated by Pharrell Williams.
