American singer-songwriter Ariana Grande unveiled the behind-the-scenes of “No Tears Left To Cry”.
The music video was directed by Dave Meyers, who created Kendrick Lamar’s "Humble" video last year and Katy Perry's video for "Firework" in 2011. It made its premiere on April 20th, at midnight on Vevo.
The director gave his take on what the video wanted to accomplish. Dave Meyers said "The concept we wanted to explore was the disorientation that you go through in life and the quest we all go through to kind of find the ground again. We sort of flirt with the ambiguity of whether you need to find the ground or whether the ground’s just what you make of it."
He cited "Dancing On The Ceiling", which was released by Fred Astaire in 1951.
The behind-the-scenes footage will be released in two parts, the first of which was directed by Alfredo Flores.
The song was released on April 20, then she performed it along with Kygo at Coachella 2018 on the same day.- T4FAg5A4wQk
